Gravity Falls is one of the best animated series I have ever seen, if not one of the best TV shows, period. It combines a strong sense of comedy, likable characters, an interesting myth arc, and wonderful drama. I reviewed the first season of this show after the episodes aired, and I reviewed the second season as it was airing. I won't cover the third season, though. Why? There will be no third season.

Requiem

Season 1: The season that brought us the three journals, Wax Sherlock Holmes, the Bottomless Pit, the Wenbie love affair, Dipper's ill fated attempts to get Wendy to fall in love with him, Mabel's ill-fated attempts at an epic summer romance, and the Gideon saga. Things are light... relatively speaking.

That, and more Bill. This was, unfortunately, the last season. Given that Alex Hirsch almost burnt out during Season 1, we were lucky to get it.
